pincer movement noun

• a military attack by two coordinated forces that close in on an enemy position from different directions

The financial managers are not elected by the populace; they hold appointed positions. In Michigan they answer to no one, except the Governor. Their duties have very elastic parameters.

There is a movement among our fellow citizens to shrink the size of the federal government and restore the power appropriated by the federal government back to the states. That seems like a reasonable thing to do unless your state is an Emergency Financial manager state or is considering that option for school districts, cities and counties in trouble.

"Oh, come on! That is a lot of 'if's.'" someone is bound to say.
Yes.
However if two of four pieces of legislation stand, outspoken citizens against civil injustice and their support affiliates like Medic and Media, will be legally herded and jailed, away from the rest of the population, potentially without trial. If three or four of those pieces of legislation stand, protesters will be squashed like a bug. If you are angry but not active; get active. If you are neither angry or active; what other information can we provide you?
